The Full Story

Throughout childhood and secondary school I was overweight, and I used to dread P.E. due to feeling self-conscious and very unfit. At the age of 13/14 years I decided I didn't want to feel that way anymore so began exercising for 30 minutes daily. The results were life changing for my confidence, and I soon realised I actually loved exercise and how it made me feel inside and out. 

Once I had completed my A-levels it became clear I wanted a career in something I enjoyed, and working with people and helping them find joy and confidence in exercise was the goal. I went on to achieve my Level 2 Fitness Instructor, and Level 3 Personal Trainer course at Lancaster and Morecambe College. From then on I have continued to learn and expand my knowledge with further courses.

I started my business at the age of 18, alongside my full-time work at the time. I began offering weekly Boxercise, and INSANITY classes in Kendal, and offering mobile PT sessions locally. 

After a short stint travelling in Australia, I returned and began working in a local Gym, which I thoroughly enjoyed, and I ended up being part of the team for 10+ years as I built my own business alongside the role. 

I am now fully self employed and offer a range of Fitness Classes in Kendal and Natland, and offer Personal Training from my private garden studio in Kendal. A dream come true!

Mission

My mission is to work with people who want to gain confidence with exercise, who want to find enjoyment in movement, and who are determined to improve their strength and fitness.

I have experience working with clients in injury rehabilitation, people who are just starting out, experienced gym goers who want an extra push or programme guidance, pre and post natal clients, and more.
