Self care is not selfish

Self-care isn’t selfish, it is necessary. Taking care of your mind and body is so important for your happiness and health. I’m not only referring to doing exercise or healthy eating here, but to all things that put a smile on your face and fill up your heart. If you are a busy little bee 🐝 make room in your diary for 100% me time, whether that is a solid 60 mins sweat fest with your heavy metal playlist, or a peaceful walk up a fantastic fell, painting your nails in the bath, singing along to Avril Lavine 🙋🏼‍♀️, making a home cooked meal, doing your funky kitchen dance 🙋🏼‍♀️🕺🏻😂 etc... Whatever it is that makes you feel like the best version of you, keeps you sane and makes you HAPPY, do it as much as you can. Because in life it’s so easy to lose yourself within social media, work life, your social life, housework etc, sometimes you must stop doing things just to please others and focus on taking care of yourself!
